When the unit receives its input supply, the buzzer provides an audible alarm and the flasher provides a visual warning. The audible alarm can be acknowledged or switched OFF using an external push button connected through an additional hold-on circuit. This allows the buzzer to be switched OFF while the flasher continues operating.
The flashing function stops when the input supply to the unit is disconnected.
Note: The external push button and hold-on circuit are used for audio control. They should not be interpreted as a built-in audio-accept push button.
